ProLaunch Red Shafts

Are these good shafts? My 3W came with one as the stock stiff shaft. I thought about changing my 5W from the stock Callaway shaft and grip to a ProLaunch Red with a Winn grip. Just want to know what you guys think of them.

They are "good" shafts, but only if it's for you. If you hit the ball low to mid trajectory, these won't work well for you. If you have a high trajectory, they will bring your ball flight down a bit which should help.

Really depends on the individual.

I normally hit my woods pretty high, which takes away any roll. But when I hit this well, I get around 220, and then the roll, it lowered my trajectory to an optimal.

As you can see, I use this shaft in my driver. Lots of feel. Lower trajectory. I love it.

I just put a pro launch red stiff in my taylor made r9 460... I had the matrix xcon 5 in there and it was too light and unresponsive. i have only played 2 rounds with the pro launch but i love it so far. perfect weight for me imo.


it also helped me bring down my driver trajectory which was getting too high for my liking..

I have the red on my driver and love it! You can't go wrong with that one!
