I'm upgrading my driver and am set on a Taylormade Burner 9.5 loft with stiff shaft. Any diffrence between the 07 and 09 models besides price?

I tried both and bought the '07 9.5* with the TM 50g Stiff ReAx shaft. Best driver I have ever hit. The shaft on the 09 is one gram lighter and the 09 clubhead is more bullet-shaped (i.e. it is deeper) I THOUGHT, but I am not sure that the shaft on the 09 is a tad longer (46" vs 45.something). In terms of feel and aesthetics, I much preferred the '07 to the '09. I also seemed to hit it about 4-6 yards further on average and I had better control for some reason.

the 09' has the dual crown tech. and like wolverine_man said the shaft on the 09' is longer I think by 1.25 inches, and a bit lighter...I love my 09' but I would just go try em' both out and see which one fits you best.

I love my 09, but I have hit the 07 too, and I liked that! I tend to error on the side of new technology wins

I have the 07 and my 14 year old just got the 09 and we both agree that the 07 is more consitent with better ball flight.

I play the 07 and demo'd the 09, I really could find no difference in the playability between the two.

By the way, I also liked the TM Reax shaft better than the one branded Fujikura on the 07. I'm not sure what the differences are, but I hit the TM shaft more consistently. I understand that the TM shaft has some design influences or input from Fujikura, though.

I have the 07. The only real differences I see are the shaft weight, dual crown, and more triangular shape. Some may like it, but I like a perfectly conventional head. The triangular and square heads throw me off.
