5.5 is a slightly stiffer regular flex....

6.0 6.5 are stiff
7.0 is X

ok thanks i was just wondering because i hit a demo titleist ap2 with the 5.5 shaft today and i gained 5 or 10 yards over my old rac lts with regular stock shafts

before you jump to assume that its the shafts, make sure you check the lofts on the clubs. More and more clubs today use stronger lofts. I am not saying that the AP2's are that way, but its something to check. What did the ball flight look like with the project X's.
