I just found something today that I figured I'd pass on, in case any of you were interested. If you have DirecTV with their DVR service, and you have your DVR hooked up to your home network, you can access DirecTV's Video On Demand service. I hadnt messed with it in quite a while, but today I was looking back at it and found that The Golf Channel has a VOD channel. There was some good stuff available for free. I queued up a few clips from The Golf Fix, and Teeing it up with Tiger. They also had clips from the Playing Lessons from the Pros, Golf in America, and some others. Check it out if you get a chance, I definitely recommend it.

oh yes...this is an awesome resource for tips/training videos

Yeah, that's exactly what I was using it for. I stumbled across the 2nd season of Californication on VOD as well though, and now I'm hooked on that!

The one thing I noticed that does pretty much suck is that the stuff I downloaded today expires at the end of the month. I wish I could keep stuff like that indefinitely.

Comcast cable's On Demand service has this, too. In fact sometimes you can find things posted there about a week before it's aired on Golf Channel. I watched most of the Hank Haney / Charles Barkely series in this method before it would air on Golf Channel.

the thing I love about the instruction there is when they show some of the amateurs/celebrities playing a round with a pro...it shows a really good contrast between their swing and the pro's they're playing with. Makes it easier for me to see a game a little closer to mine than simply watching pros play.
