Hello,
Iam getting started alot later then most on here with the game of golf, Iam 50, And have never had a nice set of clubs, just using a barrowed set as of now, Cleveland Irons, and a TaylorMade Driver R-6. I would like to purchase a new set of Irons, as i like the driver alot and hitting it well (240 yards) with a slight fade. I guess my qustion is can i find a decent set of clubs off ebay, or should i go to a proshop, and be fitted, iam only 30 minutes from Golf Galaxy, and Golfsmith, and Dicks. Iam not sure about the shafts either stiff shafts or flex? Sorry for the dumb qustion i just thought i would ask for your expertise and help, i really have no one to ask other than you all here.

personally if it were me i would go and get fitted. If you want to improve your game and are serious about improving then fitting is a must. But make sure you get fitted at a good place. You will be amazed at how just different shafts can improve your ball flight and lie and loft can improve ball striking.

I always thought about getting fitted and if it was worth it as well how much does it normally cost?
