First a little history:
This year I have been playing a TE Exotics Driver (original model) which I bought online from ProShopWarehouse. At the time the site was listing tons of Tour Edge equipment and I felt they were probably selling TE's 'year old' and excess inventory. I already played 2 Tour Edge Houdini models from last year. Later I added TE Geomax hybrid this year.
My problem is the Exotics driver has lost it power. I have played nearly 75 rounds this year and in the last 10 rounds the club has easily lost 10-15 yds. I have hit other drivers well so I feel I can eliminate the cause as swing fatigue. I have had others hit the driver... they also are coming up short.
Bottomline: Do clubs like the Exotics sometimes lose their power? Has anyone else experienced a similar loss of distance with this model??? Could I have bought a counterfeit club??? (The red X on the sole of the club has almostly worn off and the scoring line on the face also are weak from wear.) I also ask the counterfeit question because ProShopWarehouse seems to have gone out of business???
Any suggestions ? I will be contacting Tour Edge but wanted a little knowledge before hand.

I'm betting you got a fake. Sorry to say. My guess is that the face of the driver may have metel fatigue. I've heard of others on here who thought they were getting a titanium driver but got a fake made of steel. Take your club to a Tour Edge dealer maybe thay can tell you for sure.

Is the site where you got it still operating?

Did a quick check. proshopwarehouse no longer on the net. Doesn't look good for your clubs. Buyer beware always buy from a reputable dealer!

Google search gave me some updated info on Proshopwarehouse.
It appears they were legit up until about April or May of this year.
They had over 150,000 positive feedbacks until then. But for some reason they decided to rip off their last 3000 or so buyers....
It appears they even had store fronts before then.
I still think my club is real not a fake...
Right now,
I'm more concerned Tour Edge is holding back on a quality problem.
Found another TE player today, same club, his has a rattle in the head!
I did shoot 2 over today for the front nine before being rained out but the driver is definitely not what it was 2 months ago.

Did you register the club? All Tour Edge clubs come with a lifetime warranty. TE might make it right.

Re: Geomax hybrids
We have 8 to 10 guys who play on a very regular schedule.
We started with 1 guy using a Geomax hybrid replacing a Nickent.
He liked it and added 2 more.
I had liked my Houdini clubs, added Exotics driver...
Needed a 165-175 club so I added Geomax Hybrid #6.
The best player in our group (4 handicapper) added Hybrid #4...
A fourth player also added a TE driver and 22* Geomax...
We now have 4 players (handicaps 4-16) using 6 Geomax hybrids...
Count my 2 Houdinis and the total goes up to 8 Tour Edge Hybrid/Utility woods.
We all agree they are easy to hit and carry a consistent distance.
They seem equally effective off tee for a par 3 or fairway for par 4 or 5.
Very lively face with great feedback when hit well...
Plus they look like a good golfer's club... not some box on a showy shaft.

As others have mentioned, TE clubs come with a lifetime warranty. If it is a legit TE, send it in for a replacement. When I buy a TE club, first thing I do is go to their web site and register it.

Are Tour Edge clubs good?
I have the impression they are wal-mart clubs.
My achievements:
Eagles: 0
Birdies: 18
Best Round: 89

No way it would have "worn out" after 75 rounds -- you should get 10,000 drives out of it before it even starts to show any sign of wear. Briney Baird is still gaming the same driver he's used for the last 8 years on tour, so if your TE mysteriously lost its pop send it in to TE and have them diagnose it; if something's gone awry they'll almost certainly send you a new one for free.

I'm no expert but I cannot believe a club can wear out unless it was hooked up to iron byron hitting thousands of shots. And please take this in the spirit it is intended. I mean no disrespect. But have you considered that maybe it's you? Your swing might have a slight change or something? It's not like you're a scratch golfer who hits it on the button on every swing. I mean, I'm a 5. Beginning of last year I was killing it. Then I hit a slump where I was not driving it very far. Now I'm back striping it (same equipment). Just something to consider.

PSWH was legit, I used to buy from their store front. I went up there right after they locked the doors and no explainations. Just a sign said they were closed indefinitely on the door. Shame too, they seemed like pretty good people and were always busy.

my friend has one of those bazooka drivers, I didnt know Tour Edge was the one who made it, he hits it really well, if he gets a chance to play regularly like we did back earlier this summer. He would hit it 270-280 on average and many times around 300 several times a round, once came up maybe 10 ft short of driving the green on a 330 yd par 4 so I guess it must be a good driver, dont know about the rest of the ones they make, he tried out several before he chose it so its not like he blindly picked one off ebay without hitting it.

I have  played all the major brands Taylormade, titlelist , callway and cleveland. This last vacation in florida I bought an exotics xcg-4 5 wood. I could never hit a decent fairway shot with a fairway wood. That all changed with the exotics 5 wood. I found myself hitting 200 yard fairway shots with  nice and high ball flight. Since then I have picked up an exotics driver, 4 wood and a 24 degree hybrid. My brother-inlaw thinks I should check into a club rehab but I just say "NO! NO! NO!"

    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
    • Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.
    • Good advice, but according to DSG website it is a 45 compression ball. My current ball is the Top-flite Gamer at 70. 45 is too low for me to go.
    • The 3 piece Maxfli Trifli is 2 dozen for $35.  The Trifli does not feel as soft as the Maxfli Softfli, which is why I like it. Other options would be one of the Srixons, which have a buy 2 get 1 free offer.
    • I have been carrying a 7 wood more often this year.  It’s especially handy if you have a downhill lie to an uphill green.  It’s also handy if the rough on the course is deep.
