So I played in a better ball match play this weekend and the championship match was amazing. Between everyone in our foursome there were 12 birdies and 3 eagles 2 of which were holes in one. First time I ever played a better ball shot 29 on the front and came out even. My team had 7 birdies and 2 pars the other team had 2 aces 3 birdies and 4 pars. The back 9 was a little less exciting couple birdies couple bogeys and 1 eagle. The eagle was a par 5 that I pitched one in from about 15 yards and it put us 1 up through 16. We held on but the skin money our group left with was real nice. I'd never seen 2 guys on one team each have an ace. I was really shocked that with that kind of scoring going neither team got rattled. It was probably the best match play I'd ever played.
