Not sure how many of you go straight to the forums and by-pass the home page of SandTrap. If you always do that, you miss some interesting things, that's for sure. Ben's latest thoughts on the past year's PGA tour is currently posted, and I, for one, could not pass up making some comments -- relevant or not. My own view is I am hopeful we will see the risk-taking Tiger emerge from time to time. I am well aware of the wisdom of playing the game with precision and control, but I miss the unexpected risk/reward shots that Tiger seemed to pull off more frequently. Maybe I am just dreaming of something that never happened, but I thought it did.

Agreed the main site has a lot of equipment reviews and other articles that have been helpful/informative and folks should look at it more often.

In regard to the discussion though, I think we're supposed to reply to the discussion thread at the bottom of the article posted, not create a thread here. Just FYI...

I like reading the front page but I don't care for the blog style posting. It's setup for just random comments and not discussion so much.

I'd rather the discussion take place here in the article link that pops up here. I mean, use the forum for discussion I figure.

I usually come straight to the forum but I make sure to check out the main page every now and then. It's good that the articles on the main page don't come too quickly so I can check it once a week or so and read through all the new stuff.
