Cool.

A guy that was supposed to play with us yesterday games one of those. His famous quote is, "I have no allegiance to any club" and prooves this with his countless putters.

He's had this one in the bag for a year now....gotta be some type of record for him. He says he's "actually growing quite fond of this one".

I do like the feel of the inserts in those putters.

Oh sweet where did you get that putter? I want it so bad because I love blade putters but I also hate offset shafts. This one is never as cheap as the daytona for some reason though. How much did you pay for it?

Nice - hopefully you will play well with it. I'm seriously considering the new Odyssey Black Tour #9 because it has no insert and liked the feel after trying it out this past week at a local shop.

I've tried a couple of the TM Rossa's and just can't seem to get in the groove with them. My dad, on the other hand, hasn't golfed much in the past few years and tried one out and it seemed to fit him perfect, so I may be picking one up for Father's Day. They're definitely a sharp looking stick though, I'll give them that.

I loved it when I tried it at the golf store, each to their own though I suppose,my old putter was one I had got off Pinemeadow Golf a good few years ago when I started playing Golf first so I was really overdue a putter upgrade!!..

Can't wait to play it,and yeah I also think it looks great

    • I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
    • Day 150 1-10 focus on arching the wrist and getting the ball to go left. Recorded, hit foam balls.
    • Day 467 - 2026-01-10 Practiced at Pinehurst every day I was there, and before Junior Elite this morning I got fifteen minutes of backswing checks in the mirror in.
