I owe a set of MP-32 blades (ok, this aren't pure blades, but that's not the point), and I have to say that I am very happy with them. Yesterday, I went to a golf store and I had the opportunity to try the new models from Mizuno (6I); I started with the MP-62, and it felt really good; the feeling when hitting a good shot is excellent (as with my 32s), and they seem a little more forgiving to hit than mine. After that, I tried the MP-52 (CB), and I just can say WOW! The feedback is excellent as well, but this club was really easier to hit than mines.
I just hit balls inside the store, so I can't say if I hit it farther or straighter, but they are definitely easier and responsive, so I'll start saving for my next set .

I'm a little ignorant of blades, but... how

aren't the MP-32s blades? Is there a cavity I'm missing? Either way, yes, the Mizuno Players' Cavities are nice clubs. You don't have to buy a full set, by the way: many players (including some professional Mizuno staffers) mix them - we even have a thread on this board about that. The lofts on the -52, -57, and -62 all match the lofts of the -32s, too, which is convenient.

i actually own mizuno MX-25 from the time i started. For a while i been eyeing on the MP-52 or MP-62, and depending my handicap by the end of the year, i might purchase either. Both are fantastic clubs and feel super soft like all mizuno. IMO i think blades are overrated. I dont need a club to showboat, look at me im a pro golfer, but i can barely use blades. Im not planning to turn pro nor do i expect to hit 210 7 iron shots. Might as well stick with something that is a players club but little bit forgiving to get my ball up and going.

MP-32 actually are muscle back clubs, in between blade and cavity, so they do provide some forgiveness.

Quoting Mizuno's web site, "the MP-32 have Cut Muscle design technology". This is my second iron set, but I don't pretend to be an expert on irons technology, I just read somewhere that these irons weren't pure blades, but I might be wrong.

Ok, here is an explanation

That is an idea. I only hit the 6 iron, but I definitely want to try the full set. I am very happy with my irons, but I can use a little help.

    • Day 39: did top golf for an hour with the family. It was fun but also not really like real golf at all. Also did some mirror work - working on the backswing stuff mostly.
    • Day 4, 1/2/26.  Played 18 today;  didn't get a chance to warm up (had I known the range was closed, I'd have hit balls at home first).  Played okay, 92 with three balls in the water.  It was raining for more than half the round and I didn't quite appreciate before today just how much I benefit from roll on both drives and approach shots.  I did not adapt well to this change until about hole 15, which is something I have to figure out.
    • Day 143 1-2 Arch wrist in downswing. Having a SLIGHT cup in the lead wrist at the top now. Only paused swings with some rehearsals before swinging at ball.  Used foam ball.
    • Day 459 - 2026-01-02 Had two guys on GEARS Hybrid, so I hopped on afterward (I'm going to do this a lot more often now). So… I've signed myself up for another month of backswing work in two ways: A little more extension of the trail elbow (got into the upper 90s) Less pelvis turn (low 50s).
    • Day 31 (2 Jan 26) - Usual Friday men’s group shootout - good day of shot making  as most shots were right on line to the target point.  Putter and green reads were solid with some great par saves and a really tricky birdie.
