Finally broke 90!

Well today I shot an 89. First time under 90. I felt pretty good going into the round and it was going ok. Shot a 45 on the front and only had 1 double. Ended up with 3 doubles, 12 bogeys, and 3 pars. Didnt play all that well from a stats stand point, but I was putting pretty well. It made up for an unexpected problem....my driver snapped in half on the 13th hole. The lower part of the shaft and the club head went about 20 yards up to the womens tees....dont know how or why. Guess thats an excuse to get a nice stiff shaft.

Hey congrats! I remember when i broke 90. Just relish the feeling and get ready for the most frustrating time ever, breaking 80.

Well done, I remember the first time I shot 89,wrote it on the ball , stuck the score card ontop my monitor.....well now you have this to look forward to, last week broke 80 with 2 double's and now when I play I get so mad at my self for dumb mistakes when I have an 80-82 round. But anyway good job, and keep it up.

I hear ya on the dumb mistakes. I only 3 putted twice and really focused on playing the hole in reverse. Just get it on for a GIR or a close up and down.
