I took a lesson from a highly recommened pro locally. I was nervous going as I was waiting for him to pick apart my stance, straightness of back, angle etc etc etc.

The lesson was spectacular. He broke the swing down for me to a couple pieces. My body turn, wrist hinge and setting my triangle.

Simple lesson but my shots and confidence have greatly improved!

He also touched briefly on course strategy. I don't have a long ball and he wants me to not worry about it. To focus on playing what I can make safely etc.

Can't wait for my round tomorrow to try it out.

Anyone who hasn't taken a lesson, do it soon. Before you do, research the pros you have available.

Sounds good man. Its very important to find the right teachers. I went through 3 teachers, and the last one is the one for me. He breaks down my swing very simply, and it works for me. Taking lessons have tremendously helped my swing.
