OK all, what does it sound like I'm doing wrong? ...

Lately, I've been sh*nking a bunch of punch shots. Full shots are not a problem, but 4 times over the past 2 rounds I've hit a sideways ball off the hosel (once nearly beaning a nice lady in a cart that I figured was WAY out of my line of play).

What's your best tip? I need to straighten this out, asap. Thanks!

Most "laterals" seem to be caused by coming too much from the inside. In the case of a punch, and based on my own swing, I'd check your hip sway. Keep your weight left (forward) for most of the swing and eliminate about half of your weight shift. That's what works for me.

Of course, that tip may or may not work... apply at your own risk. Or rather, at the nice lady's risk...
