Hello there,
I need some help in choosing new irons. My current irons are Olyo Play (starter set, never heard of the brand? :p ), and they are starting to get "worn-out" and rusty. And besides, I've grown a lot in height since I bought them. They are a ladies' model and I'm almost 190 cm (~ 6.2 ft.), so I guess they are a tad too short.

So, what I need is some help from you guys to suggest some iron sets for me. I've looked at Wilson Di6, the Callaway Big Berthas and Nike NDS. What do you think?

Thanks is advance. : )

Depending on what your handicap is, a good brand to look at for irons is Mizuno. Particularly the Mx-900, those are sweet. Also the Nike Slingshot OSS, or the Cleveland Launcher irons, these all are designed for high-handicappers. They have large faces and usually perimeter weighting on the very bottom of the club, creating a club thats easier to get the ball into the air with. Go to a range, or Golfsmith (Im not sure what kind of golf equipment stores you guys have in Norway) and hit some balls with them and see what you like, ultimately, it's really what feels best and what produces the best results. Also, there are many more options as to brands and model.

Any Nike Slingshot model is definitely a good choice to improve your game. the first set of irons i used after my kids clubs was graphite callaway x-14's. i'm not sure if they're made for high handicappers but they worked very well for me and i went from shooting in the hundreds down to low to mid 80's in about 4-5 months. i'm currently using titleist 690.cb's and sometimes i regret not buying slingshots because ive used them and they're very forgiving and really easy to hit.

200 steel 5 wood
690.CB 3-PW

The NDS Irons are apparently not a bad set... good value, good playability, plus they've actually got a little bit o' tour presence (Rory Sabatini and Grace Park both use them, I believe).

Internet message boards rumble that they have a slight rusting problem though, so be a little wary.
