Why are you making the changes? Things other than filling the gap between your PW and 56*?

Besides filling the "gap," you need to figure out what all you want from a wedge mix. If you got with Vokey, you have probably 6 different sole grinds to choose from, plus multiple lofts for each grind.

You might start with a 50* GW and see if that fills the distance OK. You'll need to test-hit both your old and new wedges to see how they actually perform in comparison to each other.

Also, the 50 + 54 + 58 wedge mix shows up in a lot of bags.

Focus, connect and follow through!

With a 45* PW I would go 52* and 58* (I don't have room for an extra wedge due to the 3 wood and hybrid).

I have a 46* CG10 that i replaced my set PW with. Feels and handles more like a "wedge" than an iron. This is followed by a 52 56 and 60 of 3 different brands. Where i live there are no shops that have ranges to try out stuff on so i have to base alot of my decision on initial feel and confidence when i lay my hands on a wedge/club. My belief is if you feel comfortable when the club hits your hand then its probably a good possibility that you can make the ball talk with it.
