Has anyone hit the newest mizuno irons that just came out? If so, how do they compare to the previous models (esp. as far as "feel" goes)? Thanks.

They felt the same to me. Their grain flow forging is one of the best. If you liked their previous irons, these won't disappoint. I still have my MP-33's as a back up set but I just can't cough up the money for brand new sets of irons.

I too am exploring Mizuno's new line. I'm in the market for new irons after 20 yrs with 845s. I tried the mp-52s first - nice club, but didn't seem to be as much of a game enhancement club as I anticipated. I'm now demo-ing the mp-62s. They definitely require a solid swing, but when you him 'em flush, it's certainly a beautiful feel. Can anyone offer any thoughts on the new mp-58s? Fair to say that they fall someone between the 52s and the 62s in the forgiveness/workability continuum?

They have a demo day coming up at the local range. Mizuno comes in on Saturday and then Ping on Sunday.

Signed up for both days just to see the difference in how they go about fitting folks for clubs. I hit a few of the clubs out of the demo carts for each brand to have an idea before the day.

Mizuno's MP line all feel good when I make a good swing and they look great when standing over the ball. They only have 6 irons to hit so I'm not sure how the rest of the clubs will feel.

The Ping G15 looks awful after hitting the Mizuno. It doesn't feel as nice as the Mizuno on good hits either. I'm still leaning towards the G15 because I can hit the 7 iron just as far as the 6 iron from Mizuno and my swing is not ready for a "players" club.

If I had the game for em I would buy the Mizuno because they bring a smile to my face everytime I hit it well.
