I'd say buy now if your looking a newer models. At best, we're only going to see big discounts on older models. I doubt stores will have huge savings opportunities on the newer '10 models.

I'd say to check into the 08 & 09 Tour Burners, they can be had for a song and those heads are hotter than anything out there by TM. Definitely hotter than the R9 thru ball speed testing.

If those are the 2 drivers you are looking at, then I'd buy now. The Ping definitely won't come down in price; it was just released a month ago. Can't see you getting a bargain on either of those.

They'll both come down in price quite a bit, take My word for it. The OEM market is so saturated with companies coming out with New stuff multiple times a yr. You'll be able to pick up either for about half in less than a yr. This is coming from an equipment junkie who watches the market daily.

I highly doubt the price of the two clubs you're looking at will drop. You might just as well wait since most online stores will have chrismas sales and i would expect the same thing in pro shops. for example, tgw is having a halloween sale right now so they will most likely do the same thing for xmas.
