Can't believe my clubs survived.....

I was simply heart broken last night after getting rear ended by someone. The
trunk was basically fused shut. I dropped the rear seats and the sub box nearly
had the bottom that was facing the seat knocked out. Surprisingly all my clubs
are ok. I even had my old set in the Callaway box right at the back of the trunk.
Is there anything i should look for on the clubs or check them out at the range
to see if there is vibration in any of the clubs. They do look to be in perfect shape.

i did get a good jolt. i was in a little bit of shock for a few minutes as i was leaning forward
at impact,so i did get thrown back into the seat. i'm fine though, thanks.

Glad you're OK.

If the other driver was ticketed (or not ticketed but at fault) you COULD claim your clubs as damaged in the accident and get a new set. Of course - that WOULD be fraud if it were not true.

actually i was stopped at an intersection,blinker on,patiently waiting for on coming traffic to fizzle out so i could turn and BOOM ! almost got pushed into the on coming traffic.

The golf gods are with you. Good to hear you and the clubs are okay.

I had a similar thing happen to me in high school. Got in an accident where my trunk was smashed in from the side. Practically squished in half. Dunno how, but my clubs came out of that without a scratch?

that'll buff right out...

as long as you are okay, clubs, cars, sub boxes, etc can all be replaced.

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

      PGA Tour Makes Sweeping Changes Starting in 2028

      Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.

      I have been debating getting a launch monitor of some sort, if only so I can re-figure my shot zones (I haven't actually mapped them in years) and also to practice distance wedges at home.  I have to see if this works with either my current setup, or what my setup would be if I move it to the garage.
