I just ordered a new putter and have been thinking about them for a few weeks. A couple of nights ago I dreamed I bought a new putter and it looked like an old-fashioned blade putter, but the head was like 12" long and all I kept thinking in my dream was that this was going to look ridiculous on the green.

So, anyway, I'm on the Odyssey website today and I notice their new Teron putter. Have you seen this thing? I mean, c'mon, isn't this thing just a Klingon Battlecruiser with a shaft attached? Anyone who uses this either is really comfortable with their game or they like to attract attention because this will definitely do it. I guess the upside is that it can double as a weapon in a pinch.

What other wild putter designs have you guys seen?

The putter that is a replica of the Starship Enterprise ranks right up there as one of the most outrageous putters.
IMO, the Odyssey Sabretooth is another. Ive tried it a few times and it works really well (you can hit the ball all over the putterface and the ball still goes where you want it to), but I just cant get past the looks of it.

I remember when my White Hot 2 Ball first came out it was considered extreme. It is very mild now to today's UFO designs. How can one not be distracted using these things?

i think it looks retarded lol.. its like they just ran out of ideas for something new to make so they put a "groove tube" onto an older model putter and called it a new model
