Haven't had the flu, but just got the H1N1 vaccination... My skin is turning into rainbow colors and I think a second head is sprouting out of my left armpit, but no real complications otherwise...

Here they can't seem to be able to make their minds up.

One days it's "get the vaccine - it's 100 safe"

Next day it's "don't get the vaccine - it's dangerous"

On the basis that more people probably die from an epidemic than the vaccine, I had my jab (or jabs should I say).

Arm went dead for a couple of hours but nothing worse then the old cholera vaccines we had to have in the 70's.

My wife got hers yesterday. In LA they're taking it pretty serious, especially for pregnant women (like my wife). She got to jump to the head of the line and they had the thimerosol free stuff for her, which surprised me. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get it for our son yet-- he has an egg allergy so can't just stand in line at the clinics. We have to wait until we find a doctor's office who can just give us the dose to take to our allergist for a special procedure...
