If you have sunday tickets to next year's open, does that include admission into a playoff if there is one?

If the USGA does the same as the Open at Torrey, the answer is no. Playoff admission was for those who had the whole 4 days of tix.

They will if a tie occurs. It's in the tournament rules for the US Open to play an 18 hole playoff in the event of a tie. Just like the British Open is always a 4 hole playoff.

Yeah, but that has nothing to do with the OP's question which was if having Sunday tickets got you admission into the Monday playoff. And it doesn't - you need the 4 day ticket package to automatically get Monday access.

Monday playoff tickets are only included with the weekly package (3 practice rounds, 4 tournament days). They are not sold on an individual basis and your Sunday ticket won't get you in either.

Oh okay. I was wondering this because at Torrey you could get into the playoff if you had those special Hilton tickets (for Sunday).
