such a personal thing. For me I have improved quite a bit with MP-52s (game enhancement and not really players) and though forgiving, they have helped me to focus on every shot during a round in turn making me swing better and much more consistently. I have seen guys shoot par with hybrid sets but many more with player style irons.

It really comes down to what part of the game you enjoy or is most important to you. For me personally, I feel like of the SGIs hide flaws in my swing which is ok if that is what gives you the most joy, but for me it killed my consistency from day to day especially with distance. I have shot in the 70s with my new irons and was not able to improve to that extent when I was using SGIs.....I attribute it to me concentrating more and grooving the swing needed to take max advantage of the MPs. In the end all that really matters is what you think and desire as that differs for every one of us. I like the club to let me know when I mishit a little more. Good luck to you.
