I also have the same question that TT400 has. Do the CG15's offer anything other than the laser groves that the CG14 would not have?

Looks like you would be saving $30 per club or so?

Just wondering as I have been actively looking for new wedges ... and don't want to spend a ton.

Thanks!

That's one difference but the CG15 also have a c-grind on the sole which i'm not sure the CG14 have. since 30$ is not such a huge difference i would hit both....i got new wedges about a month and a half ago but if i didn't get the vokeys i would have gotten the black CG14

Mizuno, Sonartec (if you can find them), Scratch, KZG, and a few others also have some forged wedges

yeah, i love the Sonartec t35 wedges. i also had a set of the t46 wedges, but for some reason i preferred the 35's. not sure why or even if there was any real difference between them. its too bad Sonartec went under. they made some really good clubs

    • We had a member of our senior club who developed a mental block on pulling the trigger. I played with him to see what the membership was talking about. I timed him a few times when he would get over the ball. 45 seconds. He knew he had a mental block and would chide himself, “Just hit it!” Once on the green he was okay and chipping was a bit better. It was painful to watch him struggle. Our “bandaid” was to put him in the last tournament  tee time with two understanding players. We should have suggested to him to take a break from our tournaments. I agree with the idea that when a player realizes they have a problem, the answer is to go fix it and not return until they are able to play at an acceptable pace.
