Saticoy CC in Somis, CA. Best golf course ever!

I've played this place a couple of times, and each time I fall in love deeper. I real test of a track. Held US Open Section Qualifying this year. Two rounds at Even par at this place and you got in. (Charlie Wi was medalist Leaderboard link ). Anyway, got to play on Wednesday. Took my camera. Was concentrating on playing more than taking pictures. But got a few good ones of the place and my buddy. The pictures Now that I labeled those pictures, I realized I played really good on those holes. Maybe I should take more pictures next time. In 8 holes I had 3 pars, 1 bogey and 4 birdies!

Ben, I think we may have had this conversation before, but I was born in Ventura County and my grand parents were lifelong members at Saticoy. I remember going to holiday events/kids parties (esp 4th of July fireworks) at the country club. They offered me lessons at the club many times as a child, but I wan't interested then. Now that I'm 44 and only 3 years into this addiction called golf, I will always regret not taking those lessons and playing that course with them.

I was just looking at my grandfather's old Macgregor Eye-O-Matic persimmon woods that I recently acquired as keepsakes today.
