All around the Metroplex: Tribute, Castle Hills, Tenison, Bear Creek, Hawks Creek, Texas Star... This "arctic blast" cancelled a chance I had to play Dallas National.

My top 3 are WestRidge, Fossil Creek, and Winstar.

I really like Tribute and Tour 18 but they are a little pricey for me.

I like Castle Hills when the greens are good and want to play Bear Creek and Texas Star.

I'm looking forward for my new clubs to come in and be built. Then the weather to warm enough to go and play with them!

I'm a big fan of Fossil Creek and Winstar... Haven't played Westridge yet but I got an eagl card for Christmas so I've got a free round there, looking forward to playing it... Tribute is pricey, I don't play there unless they have a special or twilight... Here's to warmer weather and you getting to enjoy your new sticks!

This has been an especially harsh winter thus far for much of the country. Id say you should just be thankful that you dont live in places like NE that are talking not about how many inches of snow they are going to get, but how many FEET of snow.

I cant play well if the temp < 45deg F. My fingers will just go numb and cramped !

In Mississippi, we usually get to play a good bit in the Winter. On average 2-3 good days a week. Of course the whole country is freezing at the moment. Even late Fall sucked here. Either too wet or cold. Next week looks better though. I need my golf fix.

      Day 33 (13 Dec 25) - Worked on weight shift and resetting the left heel during downswing (after listening to a discussion on Golf School this morning on PGA Tour Radio).  It centered on how Jack Nicklaus lifted his lead heel and how long driver champs do as well.  Taking cues from that discussion, worked an exaggerated feel of the left heel working doing some swing drill in the backyard using the 7i.  Wrapped up the session by hitting a few low bump and run shots in the backyard - keeping the process slow and exaggerated.

      It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
