I purchased a used 10.5 Pro Titanium 905R driver then after researched I had the shaft changed on the 10.5 driver to a ALDILA NV. Now I like the combination but I believe I need a new 10.5 club head. What are the signed that it's time for a new club head? and will it make a difference in my distance.

Thanks in advance

There is a dent or a chip at the bottom also there are nicks from topping the ball on the club head. Once again I bought it used. Do you think that will have an impact on distance?

Given it's cosmetic stuff, why not hang onto your driver for a few months? You might get better distance once you become more comfortable with it. Also, how much distance do you really want/need?

According to marketing specs, the 905R is a shallow face driver designed for high launch and low spin. The 2009 GolfWorks catalog shows that the NV Wood Series is a family of shafts of four different weights. Most of the NV-W family have a medium-high flexpoint - tends to keep ball somewhat low - and medium-firm shaft tip. Also, it would help to know: * the flex of your NV shaft * your driver swingspeed * average driver shot carry * shape of your shot. Also, consider putting a "What's In My Bag" section in your sig line. That way, we can tell your club mix, and how you approach your golf game.

I updated my signature and I want to make a correction, my driver is a 905s.

My swing speed on average is 105 and my distance is 230. I've been hitting lots of high fades with this driver. I'm looking to increase my distance to 260 - 280.

Unless the face is cracked, you dont exactly "need" a new clubhead. The nicks on the sole and popup marks on the crown may make the club look ugly, but unless it has a huge dent in the crown, its not going to effect it's performance.
Driver faces do lose their springiness eventually, which would hurt the distance; but unless you are a pro who practices at least 4 hours a day; you will likely never get to that point.
