Entourage MAC 2008 Help.

Iacas, I know you use this and currently I only have my gmail forwarded here, but I want to also get my yahoo account to go there. I am having trouble doing this, do you have a yahoo account set up? Do I have to upgrade and pay for yahoo mail to be able to do it?

I am getting this error message when I attempt to verify my account settings:

Err, I'm also having issues with my University's Email account.. It is run through Mic. Exchange.

I use Entourage but only with one account that's not my server, and that's my MobileMe account.

FWIW, All these work fine on my iPhone.

So the Apple product works with Microsoft Exchange, but the MS product doesn't. Go figure.

Ahem... Sorry, was choking on the snark there for a sec... If we wanna get really technical about it, Apple licensed a Microsoft product (if you can call the Exchange ActiveSync protocol a product) for iPhone connectivity to Exchange, so neener neener!! And for the record, Entourage works well connecting to Exchange, we've got a couple of people using it both at work and at home. That systems engineer did one kick ass job when he built that Exchange infrastructure Iammpspeer, I can probably help get you connected to that. What university? When you set your iPhone up to connect to your school's mail system, what's the server address you're using? Also, what version of Entourage? When you're trying to establish the connection, are you connected to the school's network, or somewhere else?

If you are running Snow Leopard and the server is running Win2007, you can use the native mac apps seamlessly, (Mail, Calendar, Address Book) and setup is nothing more than entering your email address and password. Couldn't be easier.
