Viewing Embedded Videos on my Phone

Hi,

In one thread someone posted links to some youtube training videos. I could not see any links in the message, but when I replied with quote the links were in the quoted text within the edit/post box. When I replied the links disappeared again.

I'm guessing this is either due to my current status (still new to the site within the 3-25 post range), or is due to viewing the forum with my phone. Just curious if links only appear once I get to over 25 posts, or is it a phone issue.

Thank you for the site and for all the work done to maintain and manage it.

I don't know what you're talking about. Links are clickable. Like

this one right here and show up in a different color. You don't need to see the URL to click the link.

Thanks for the fast reply.

Post #5 in the following thread references some videos but the links nor highlighted text appear:

I can see the blue text in your reply which is clickable, but the ones in the noted thread are not clickable. Might be the formatting, or related to older style linking, or just my phone browser.

And the same thing. I'm declaring this a phone issue or limitation on my end, as I suspected it might be. US Cellular and a Blackberry Curve. I double checked using the OperaMini browser and the same results. Something about embedded video links and the Blackberry or my provider.

Bummer for me. At least I can use the ReplyWithQuote to capture the video link and then cancel the reply.

Sorry to bother you. Thanks for looking into it though.

      Can you elaborate on this?  There's a par-4 hole at the course I've played the most (was my home course for over a decade, now 50 miles away but I still go and play there) whose green is below the fairway and I realized recently it's one of three holes on the course I've never made birdie, despite that I often have a short iron into the green for my second shot.  It isn't even that I haven't made birdie, but I realize I often don't hit the green.  My typical play of the hole is to have a near-GIR and sometimes I get up and down, but not as often as I would if I were trying to 2-putt.
