It used to be funny when he was still a good player. Seeing him play with his shirt off, meet and greets at the hooters, etc..Now it's just sad...And the one thing that stood out to me during the event at Torrey Pines was the interview in the parking lot. The interviewer said "John, I'm your friend and don't want to see you like this or quit golf". If you were really his "friend", turn the damn camera off and talk to your "friend" on the side. Not on national telivision.

Agreed 100%. Not to take anything off Daly but that guy with the camera was obviously exploiting the emotional state of his "friend" to get some controversial stuff for the camera. There's a name for him but I'm not sure it's appropriate for this site.

Face it...Daly sells copy.

He's got enough raw talent that he could post another win or two. Just wonder if he'll allow himself to do it.

The drama is compelling.
