Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knew of any good shops to get my clubs fitted. I live in Pikeville, Ky just in case any of you know where that is. It's just a small town in eastern Ky, the closest mall is Huntington, WV and it's like an hour and a half from here. Don't really know if the Dicks SG there fits clubs or not. Just wondering if you guys knew of anywhere? Or if getting them fitted online would be a good idea? Thanks!!

Its impossible to get them fitted correctly online, they need to see your swing to check the lie angle, etc.. You could have the lengths done online but thats about all. Any pro shops at your local courses do fittings? I've seen the commercials Dick's has now for their fitting process but the one by me doesn't have it yet so I would guess that some of them are going to get it before others.... Taking 5 hours out of your day to get fitted is well worth it. I have been fitted numerous times, once at golf galaxy but wanted to do it again to make sure. I wasn't sure how acurate they would be at GG because its a chain retail store. Do some online searches to find out who does it.

If you go to the Tom Wishon Technology website, you can find listings for certified clubfitters by regions. I think an in person fitting would be better. If you try online, you have to be completely honest and not exagerate how far you drive the ball, measurements, swingspeeds, and about a million other variables.

I would drive to Lexington or Huntington and find a golf shop, not Dick's. I know in Lexington there is a Pro Golf Discount by Richmond Rd and New Circle Rd. I have not been fitted by them, but I know they offer it and the guy I always talk to in there knows his stuff.

May just have to do that. Going to wait until I get my new irons before I go down there. It's only about 2 hours to there. I think it'd be worth the drive. Thanks!
