Just hit my Adams A7, 2 hybrid for the first time today...

...and man, I freakin' LOVED it. It's WAY long. So long, I now have the luxury of worrying about the distance gap between my 3 hybrid (an Adams A2 from Rockbottomgolf.com) and the new 2 hybrid club. It'll be nice, on days where the Driver and 3-wood aren't being friendly, to play controlled shots off the tee with this thing. And, it'll be nice to be on in 2 on par 5s from crappy lies off the fairway, much to the dismay of the rest of my group .


I might have to get the A7 Iron set now . Just have to convince the wife it's a necessity...

A piece of advice: Don't try out the A7 irons unless you have money to burn, because they're just as good as the really, really awesome A7 hybrids. I fell in love with my A7 19* immediately.

I've had a fund started for new irons for a few months now. I'm figuring that mid-summer I'll take the plunge.

I'm replacing my 3 and 4 hybrid and perhaps adding a 2. The Adams are on my short list to try. I keep hearing really good things about them.

I have the Adams A2 3 20degree hybrid with the green Aldila shaft...AWESOME...What's even better was I found it at the local Dunhams for $55! Its straight and long...I cant wait to hit it outside....Highly recommended.

A 2 hybrid is, basically, a more versatile 5-wood.

I'd like to get a 1 hybrid and only hit woods off the tee. The only company I know of that makes a 1 hybrid (15 degrees) is Titleist.
