I was talking about golf with a co-worker this morning, and we were talking about some of the funniest things we've seen in golf and I had flashbacks to last 4th of July, when I played Meadow Farms. It's very close to my parent's house, and I was visiting them for the weekend, and my little sister works in the snack bar there, so she got me a couple free passes.

The course was decent, although it's got "The Longest Hole in the United States", an 841 yard par 6, so I expected a few gimmick holes, and wasn't disappointed at all. They had a par 3 that the green was built in the middle of a baseball field.

The thing that I found very very funny was that the dress code was typical, slacks and a shirt with a collar. However, the dress code didn't seem to apply to the employees there. I was surprised when the beverage cart came around, and the middle aged lady driving got out wearing leopard print high heels, a black mini-skirt, and a bright red skin tight tank top that barely covered her overly large fake breasts. I asked my brother in law if we were at the golf course or the strip club, and he just laughed. I kind of got a chuckle out of it, and saw her multiple times during the day driving the cart, laughing every time.

When I got home, I asked my sister what in the world that lady was thinking dressing like that on a course that abides by a dress code for the players, and she said that the old men who play the course love staring at her, and that some come to the course just to see her. My sister said she averages $400 a day in tips, so I guess it works, but I found it blatantly laughable, and actually tipped less than I typically would to a girl driving the cart dressed in proper golf attire.

So now, every time I go home, I ask my brother in law if we're going to go play at Meadows Farms Golf Course and Strip Club!!!!

Your post is funny. They are Beverage Babes. Look around at course. Who's the average Joe there. So Leopard Skin High Heels Big Fake Boobs.....Fits right in to Big Tips.....I have played Meadow Farms. My Fav hole was the par 3 in the Old Stone Foundation with island green....I skipped it right thru the little gully around green.....And yea the baseball diamond...Good memories. I didn't get to experience the BevBabe you did though...

    • First round at Quail Ridge: 47 + 47 = 94 *Note: It was 25+ mph winds with gust in the 35+ mph. It was also around 58 degrees. I felt like I was out in Oregon. The greens were very firm.  Driver was decent. It didn't cause me an issues.  Irons were the biggest issue. Just low point control was lacking. Mostly on the chunky side. Also, my irons were routinely 20-30 yards shorter than normal. Even on holes with a cross wind, the ball was just dying. We played an extra 9 holes after the first 18, and the wind died down by then. I stepped into a 9 iron, and it came up 15 yards short. I have no clue what is going on. I should not be hitting 9 irons 140 yards when I am hitting my driver 300 to 310 yards.  Warmup didn't give me much confidence. I just kept shanking every other iron shot. I didn't shank an iron during the round. I just felt all out of sorts today. Coordinate felt off.  yea, I have no idea if I am purposely slowing down my swing to feel my downswing piece. Again, I hit a decent 9 iron and lost 15 yards of carry. I hope this is just an off day.
    • Day 565 - 2026-04-19 Wanted to get home to do some spring cleaning type stuff, so I practiced for about seven or eight minutes and got my butt home. Just backswing stuff, mostly, with freezers and a little downswing feel. Liking the new big mirror I have.

    • Day 22: played 18. Shot okay - 80 - but long game was bad. Saved by some good putting and short game.
    • Well that's about the dumbest thing I've read today.
