Demoed some new clubs at the Cleveland Golf Show yesterday

Irons
Nike Victory Red Full Cavity - Horrible, hated them. Wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Pathetic off-center, and don't really feel great on center hits either. Plus the weighting felt a little weird. Not a fan.

Adams A7 - Nice clubs. Didn't feel super workable, but I don't work my iron shots a ton (I usually play a fade into greens, and I can do that with any GI iron). Great weighting. I like a thinner-soled iron with all the performance features of an Adams club, as well.

Titleist AP1 - Good on center hits. Dissapointing on off-center hits for supposedly being a GI iron. A good club. Nice weighting and look too.

Mizuno MX300 - Best all-around iron I hit. Outstanding. Felt great every time. Even the mis-hit felt solid.

Drivers
Adams Speedline 9032 - I've already got a Fast10 coming in the mail, so I just hit this for kicks. Felt decent. A little iffy if you don't hit the sweet spot (it is a tour driver) but felt okay.

Ping G15 - Shockingly dissapointing. I think the G10 was a better club, at least for me.

Ping I15 - Amazing when you hit the center of it. So hot off the face. So workable. As everyone says, not super forgiving, but if you are a consistent striker with the driver - it could be lethal.

Titleist 909D2 - Amazing club. I think this was actually last year's version and not this year's, but I loved it. Even mis-hits felt good, but I hit 8 or so balls with it and I only had one that felt like any kind of mis-hit.

TM R9 - Only hit it once because it had a shaft rattle that was irritating. Incomplete.

Thanks for the review...I would have to agree with the VRs...I tested them just for the hell of it and I didn't particulary like them either, compared to the R7s I was hitting...
