Wha? Do you mean the club? If you realese the club properly, you should rehinging after impact. I know i do, anyway. I think you might mean your flipping the club with the hands through impact. There is a whole bunch of reasons why one might do this.

Well i saw a video of Tiger Woods talking about how he tries to feel like he's about to shake hands with the target in order to get good extension after impact. That might help, but it might cause a few chunked shots at first, or at least for me it did. It's also important to lag properly to help keep from flipping the club before/immediately after impact. I usually just let the momentum of the club extend and hinge my arms/wrists, and some days i rehinge faster than others.
