After 25 years without golf I somehow got bit this winter. I am amazed at the quantity and quality of information available to me now compared to when I played in the 1980's. This Sunday I am going for a full fitting from Tony Curo at EduKaytion Golf in Pittsfield.

I am relatively new to the Berkshires, and do not know anyone that plays. Is it still acceptable to show up at the course as a single and get paired up?

Go for it, and welcome to the Sandtrap. I had only been playing for a short while, and remember the first time I built up the nerve to play my local 9 solo, with out the guy who got me to try golf. I was asked to pair up and was horrified, but it turned out this gentleman was knowledgable, humorous and most importantly patient with a newbie. He was just visiting the area for work reasons, so a shout out to Mr. Coalminer, hope it is green and warm wherever you are today... Boston Blackie, hope you get to have a similar experiance!

I ordered a Chicken and an Egg on the Internet, to find out which came first... I'll keep you posted!
