I was just wondering if anyone is playing "PING i10" UW, SW or LW and why? Meaning why are you playing these versus the PING Tour W or some other brand of specific wedge?

I am thinking about doing this as PING's WRX shop will grind any i10 club in any of their offered grinds. I think I would do this so that when I look down at address the look (distinct PING look of their irons, excpet S types) would be consistent through-out my bag but I do not want to loose any potential performance that I would otherwise get from a specific wedge like a Tour W.

Thanks for anyone's opinion on this...

They're great wedges. I personally don't see any difference between them and "premium" wedges, besides the purchase price ($75 versus $115).

Nike Vapor Speed driver 12* stock regular shaft
Nike Machspeed 4W 17*, 7W 21* stock stiff shafts
Ping i10 irons 4-9, PW, UW, SW, LW AWT stiff flex
Titleist SC Kombi 35"; Srixon Z Star XV tour yellow

Clicgear 3.0; Sun Mountain Four 5

Thanks...the main reason I am doing this is because of the way the clubs looks at address...meaning when you are setting up to any of the

i clubs designed by PING there is not a black ferrule at the top of the head (where the shaft enters the head)...this is a PING signature (see my avatar). But when I look at any of the wedges available on the market, they all have black ferrules. I thought I would like the idea of all my irons looking the same at address but still want very good performance...so I talked to my club guy and he felt there is not any difference as long as I design my i10 wedges to play the way I want...so I am going to get my i10 LW grinded by PING WRX (T Grind) as I tend to use one club around the greens and like it to be diverse. I know this may seem weird to some but I guess everyone has there preferences...
