My driver cracked..

Yes. Weird isn't it? I was cleaning the head of the driver today, and I noticed a small crack on the back under side of the head. It was really weird, but I figured it was time for a new driver any ways. I don't want to drop a fortune hopefully less than 100 bucks.. What is a good club that I can pick up used on ebay for cheap? Thanks for the input!

P.S I am looking at a big bertha for 36 bucks.

If you have a 100 to spend get something a little newer. Callaway Big bretha 460's should be 100 or less.

Bit of a impulse buy.. What do you guys think?..

I picked one up a few weeks ago. Nice solid feel on all but the worst hits. That said, you don't get much feedback on pured shots versus "mediocre" shots. Seems forgiving to me, low spin, high launch with the Aldila NVS I have. Just an "easy" driver to hit for me

Decent price on that club, nice choice for a nice cheap older driver.

Hopefully will help my slice, unlike the one I have now, man, that driver is not forgiving at all! I can't wait to take this out. What sound does it make? I hear that it is a thud, not a tink?

I'm no expert at all, but I think you could do better if you are fighting a slice. FT-3 is a neutral club. Forgivness mostly pertains to forgivness of miss hits for distance. Not so much for hooks or slices. Let us know how it works for you.

I've got some baaaad news for ya. This is a "TOUR" Nuetral head which means it's an open faced, shade less forgiving head. Made to take the RIGHT side of the course out of play. I'd say back to the drawing board if you're a slicer. Now instead of going left you'll go waaaaay LEFT!!!
