Swapping graphite shaft out to steel...

If I buy a single iron that has a graphite shaft in it, can I take it to a shop and have them put a steel shaft in it??

Yeah, sure.

Ha Ha, I don't know if that response was serious or sarcastic??

I would think they should be able to do it. I'm new to golf and have never really had any experience with taking clubs in to get work done. Zack

Nope, pretty simple. A shaft is a shaft, and it's attached by glue. They make both graphite and steel in every different size.
