Do you ever lose sleep over your golf game? I'm sitting here at 6 Am, and I can't sleep becasue I'm thinking about all of the things I could fix in m swing. Do you guys do anything like that? It's pretty annoying.

I get out to the driving range once or twice a week. Since I can practice my short game inside, and last year my short game, particularly chipping, wasn't good, I decided to practice some putting and chipping in my home every day. I have to do it after dinner at night, and usually end up doing it about an hour before I go to bed.

So usually I go to bed right after I do my daily practice, and some nights I get into bed with my practice fresh on my mind and thinking about it and the rest of my potential golf game does excite me and prevent me from sleeping sometimes.

For that very reason I've moved my practice time earlier in the evening.

I've had trouble going to bed because of the following:
- chipping and putting practice in the basement
- waiting for a load of laundry to finish so I can wear whatever article of clothing is lucky that week
- excitement over an early tee time at a great course

Thinking about golf actually relaxes me and puts me to sleep - instead of counting sheep, imagine playing a favourite coures and by the fourth tee . . . zzzz.
