I'm currently on the hunt for a new driver and came across the 2008 model Mizuno MP-600 and was wondering if any of you have used this driver and what are your thoughts on it.
This is the one with the adjustable weight system in it

Yes..from what i have read on it, it's on some sort of a rail system and all you have to dl is losen the weights and slide them to where you want them...seems like a pretty good clubs, but I don't know anyone that has hit one

You can for practice rounds, etc. while you're tinkering with it to get it all figured out, but I'm pretty sure it's against the rules of golf to alter it during a round. So don't do it during an official handicap round or tournament...

I have one of these and like it very much - just replaced it because I don't love the Fujikura Fit-on E-360 shaft that came on mine. It looks great and sets up square - no closed face. Feels and sounds very solid at impact. The adjustable weights are nice. They won't make a drastic change in ball flight like Taylor Made claims theirs do, but they do make noticeable changes.

Legally you are not allowed to adjust adjustable clubs while playing a round for a tournament, handicap (It think), etc. If you are just playing for fun, knock yourself out.

I have one of this model Mizuno driver and I like it. It is a bit heavier than a regular club so you lose a little distance. But it is a solid all around driver that you can depend on.

While you can adjust the weights for different ball paths I haven't found the changes to be significant. You can't cure a persistant fade or draw by adjusting the weights. If you are normally straight in your shots you can tune a little fade or draw into your shots. But you have to be consistent in your address and swing. If you're taking lessons and trying to develop a better swing pass this one by. After playing with this club for several months and working on my swing I have moved up to a non weighted driver and can hit better shots.

It ain't bragging if you can do it.
