Hello everyone below in my signature is all of the clubs in my bag. I have a 51*AW 56* Niblick, and a 58* cg15......how do those varrying degrees look.....I hit the 56 and 58* about the same distance, and think I may need to adjust the lofts....what are your thoughts.....

Use them as is.

They have different designs, therefore different uses/purposes. You may appreciate their unique qualities. Or, one day in the not too distant future, when you realize you haven't used one of them since who knows when, pull it outta your bag and park it in the basement forever.

Thanks for the suggestion, after looking at my lofts and what kind of clubs they are for what would YOU yourself think their unique qualities would be?

well why do you think you need to change your the lofts on your wedges?

You've got a 51* and a 58* and a niblick. You can use the 51* from 70 yards in. the 58* can be used if you need to carry over things. and the niblick around the greens. What else do you need? If you think there's a bit of a degree gap my PW is 45* and my SW is 55* that only equates in a difference of 20-25 yards.

No i thought that maybe the 56 and the 58 were too close in degrees.....and that i could use both for basically the same things..

There probably isn't a single shot you could do with the 56* niblick that, with some practice, couldn't be done equally as well with either your 51* or 58* wedge - which wedge depends on the shot.

I suspect if you want to hit a flop shot, the niblick may be a little harder to open the face and slide under the ball. I'm also not too sure how they are out of bunkers.

your X22 PW has a loft of 45*, so you're 5 or 6 degrees apart on the lower three wedges. The Niblick and CG15 are non-Callaway, so you'll have to decide if you get a decent yardage progression from this combo.

Rather a surprising mix, but if it works for you, that's fine. You don't say how long you've been playing. If you have been jacking around with the wedge mix lately like me, you might want to play a season with what you have, and make any adjustments at Christmas.

Great idea! I'll keep what I have for this season and see hownit works out. I've only been playing six months so maybe I'll get a better feel for them in time. Then I can also add a couple clubs to my christmas list too then :)
