hey guys (and gals), been out of golf for a while and trying to get back in it. Just wanted to post a few vids and see what you guys think. I feel my swing is too upright and i now realize my backswing is wayyy too long and i start to break down my left elbow, and also kinda "chicken-wing" it. If anyone can offer any other advice it'd be appreciated! thanks, justin!

In general I'd tend to agree with that. But I just watched the first video. Long day.

Back up from the ball a little. In that video with the wedge shot you're hands are very close to your body, unnaturally so. If you get a little bit of distance between you and the ball, you'll be able to swing on-plane much better.

    • Day 87 (27 Jul 25) - Made it an easy session with the wedge this afternoon, worked on staying in the shot and not lifting out - split between low spinners and higher floaters.
    • Shot my new low 72 (par 70) today. Had 5 birdies, also a new best, which included a hole out from the bunker on par 3 6th, and another hole out pitch from 15ish yards on the long par 4, 15th.  Got a couple of other good breaks. Except for an OB drive on 14th (and ensuing double bogey), not much went wrong. All in all I might have used up a year's worth of luck in a single day.
    • Back in the saddle after vacation.  Day 1: played 18. Did not have it, but still battled to an 82. Felt closer to a 90, but that’s fine.
    • Yes, I have seen this from the older crowd that play the 4,700 yard tees and want to know why they get less strokes from there. Always trying to game the system 🤣
    • Day 300 - 2025-07-27 Good 44-ball segment. GSPro was acting goofy, so I just put it on the Quad. Then I hit a bunch of low spinners. Hit 14° down to 9.8° down, with the average closer to 12.3° or so. Focused mostly on the backswing. Right knee good, hands roll up and out a little before laying off (FAR).
