Yesterday afternoon while I was at the driving range, I noticed an instructor out there giving a lesson. He had this man with a head cover under each arm pit making swings with them there....what does this drill promote and what is the purpose of it? thanks for any help!~Chris
Driver: DIABLO EDGE
Hybrid: 5DX
Irons: X-22 Irons 4-PW
Wedge: X-22 51* AW, CG15 54*/58*
Putter: Method 001Ball: Penta TP

It helps keeps the arms connected to the body. It creates really consistent and rather straight iron shots. (Or at least I like it for my irons.)

Any idea of the same drill can work for the driver?

Driver: DIABLO EDGE

Yea get David Toms to hit your drives for you.

I'm pretty sure it can still do pretty much the same thing for the driver, but there's not gonna be tons of power with it. You'll get straight shots though.

Driver: Callaway Big Bertha Diablo 9º
2 Hybrid: Callaway Big Bertha Heavenwood
Irons: Nike Slingshot OSS 6-3 iron
          Taylormade Tour Preferred PW-7 iron
Wedges: Cleveland CG14 50º, 54º
              Taylormade RAC 58º
Putter: Ping Darby 32" shaft
