My Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde game

I want to scream right now..........something like "DAN YOU SUCK!!!"

Only kidding of course and this is a vent post more than anything.

I missed only 1 of 14 fairways today and had nothing over a 7i into any green. I hit exactly one! ONE friggin green. How can I hit it so straight off the tee and stink it up with the irons?? I only hit Driver twice and creamed it down the middle both times. The rest of the tee shots were with my 3h which carries 200-220 off the tee. 29 putts + 18 tee shots = 47 which is exactly half of my strokes today. The card has 8 pars, 1 bogey, 6 doubles and 3 triples. The card of a non-iron-hitting-scrambler.

I need to practice with the irons obviously. Range time scheduled!!

That stinks. I know that feeling all to well. Today I actually played the best round of my life to date and my irons were money but i couldnt hit my driver worth a darn was stroking the 3 wood that i had used for first time yesterday on two holes( duffed both times) then today hit it 220+ five times. Keep ur head up and have short term memory.

Just replace all of your irons with hybrids. They make a 8-hybrid right?

Only shows you have to practice your ball striking, analysing the cause of wherever the ball went and fix it. Sounds easy enough.
