My dad came over today and gave me his set of Mizuno's from when he was a pro, he quit teaching (apart from me for the last two years since I took it up, I know should of when I was young) a few years ago and is in his late 60's so uses an old set of Ping Eye 2's when he plays these days.

They are fitted with DG S400U Sensicore shaft, I am gonna give them a go at the range tomorrow but from the looks of them I reckon they are gonna be tough to hit? he said, put it this way you will know if you miss hit them LOL.

Anyone have any experience with these clubs or the S400U shaft? I know they are circa 1999.

These clubs are really sick if you can hit them. I know a lot of people that still play these and they love them, but they are all single digits. And yes haha, you will definetly know when you mishit them.

Yeah they are kinda scary looking, I have read a few threads today as well and they all say the TZOID Pro are nice blades to hit, but the TZOID Pro True's are the least forgiving blade they have ever hit :)

Be still, my heart!

Actually played (and still own) a set of T-Zoid Pro irons, which I played and loved for 9 years. Suspect the Pros are more forgiving than the TRUEs... I upgraded to the MP-57s a couple years ago - much easier to hit than the T-Zoids, which I thought were forgiving when I switched from Wilson Staff blades in 1999.

I digress... Imagine you'll find them pretty tough to hit, but if/when you do pure one... Butter!

Good luck,
DoctorK

Cheers, I have not had chance to hit them yet, been working on a few things with my irons so want to get that right before hitting these :)
