Stopped by wally World to buy something and saw Avatar has been released on BR and DVD. They had copies of both AND for some reason they were selling a combo pack for 19.99.

I kept the BR for myself and am giving my brother the DVD version. PS they sold DVD for $14.99 and BR for $24.99.

I hope this becomes more common - $20 Blue Ray I mean...

I know...

But I wanted BR so it was a no-brainer to save the $5 and give the other to my brother/niece. Odd that I can it cheaper with the DVD version than without

The combo pack is becoming more and more common. Pixar did this with a bunch of their BR releases lately.

Blu-Ray for home, if you have a nice TV and a BR player. However, I've yet to see a good portable BR player, so you could watch the BR on a plane, or let your kids watch it in the backseat during a road trip to the in-laws, or whatever.

    • Day 2 (September 7), still with the grip and the medicine ball (using weights).   Still on vacation and really aching to be able to do a full practice the way I'd be able to at home.  Also bought a 1/2" section of pipe today at the hardware store and have been regularly practicing the grip with that too while watching Sunday football with the family.
    • Day 1: Worked on feels for wedge swings. Primarily getting everything to move from the top of the backswing in the correct sequence.
    • Day 6 (7 Sep 25) - Afternoon pitch session with the 54 and 58 in the backyard. Keys: Alignment - Setup - Smooth swing thru - working on each to be as “automatic” as possible - not mindless, but deliberately repeatable. I have found the precision required to properly execute carries well into the full swings.
    • 180% is the threshold. But yeah, many of them are close to 200%. Not 120 and 123%. People generate speed differently. I think your speed will come more easily when this stuff gets sorted out. Stay disciplined. Stay on the road. You can't get off exit 74 before you hit exit 32.
    • Got a lesson up at Golf Evolution from Erik.  New priority piece.  Getting my hips to work correctly by getting my right hip to slide to the right and back behind me. HUGE stretch in the right glute and right lower back area. I need to make sure my head stays steady over the ball.  Pressure should build under the right side of my right foot. Just way more under my right foot overall.  Hip rotation should come from internal rotation, mostly by my torso turning into my right hip, not allowing my right knee to rotate outwards. It's keeping the front of my hip facing towards the ball as much as possible, and letting the turn come from the torso. The hips will turn (sometimes way too much, something to manage).  I need to hang out on the right side, to allow the swing to collect. Allows for better timing.  *Glare warning! I know I should be wearing my hate. Sorry 😛   Side note, got on the force plates as well. I have 120% vertical GRF. PGA TOUR players are like 200%. This is relative to their body weight. So yea, for those who know my swing speed. 🤣
