Can a golf ball make such a difference?

I'm going to completely disagree with the fact that a high handicapper should not be using a premium ball, or for that matter a low handicapper not using a $10 bargain bin ball. two reasons. one: determine what ball you prefer working from the green back to the tee, and not vice versa. if you like the spin on a $10 dollar ball versus a $40, buy it, if you like the spin you can generate from a premium ball, buy it. two: yes, money is involved when buying balls, yes, the marketing can sway you to buy 'the #1 ball on this/that tour/golf'...yes, people you play with will tell you the greatest ball of all time...truth is, how the hell do YOU hit the golf ball. if you hit it well and would pay $40 for it, then by all means buy the darn things. if you like the ones that cost $10, buy em 3 doz at a time. comon people /rant
