Anyone play mixed set of AP1 & AP2 ?

I just got my ap2's in the mail today. Love them. I got the dynamic gold high launch shaft. It makes the irons alot more light than the standard dynamic gold shaft that comes on them. At a 0.0 handicap, you should go with all ap2's IMO

Yeah .. I'm thinking a 3 and 4 AP1, 5-PW AP2.

It's not that I don't like the 58's ... i'm just not perfect with them. It may be the shaft, it may be the head. I can improve my game with a different set of irons I hit better.

Just watched a vid of your swing, linked from your signature. Is that how you normally swing your irons?

Those are not full swings. Slowed the tempo down to show the form in the video. ... but yes, that's my swing .. just a bit more uhhmmphh with my full swing.

I should also mention that when I'm shooting for dead on accuracy, I will club up and do that same tempo'd swing... unless the lower loft won't work on that shot for whatever reason.

Just got a set of AP2's with Rifle 6.0 shafts a few weeks back and love them. Moved to them from a set of Ping G2's that I had had for quite a while. Kept the G2 3 and 4 in the bag as a security blanket until I got more used to the AP2's but am really liking the Titleist clubs and am getting comfortable very quickly with the long irons...
