Hi,

I have an in-to-out swing, where i hit a low cutty ball flight. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to correct this, and get me hitting it straight again. Thanks!

Sounds like you more than likely swing out to in, not in to out.

Check the swing out on video, because you can have an in to out swing, but if your hands don't move propertly through the impact zone then you can cut the ball. I had this issue diagnosed the other day. Right before impact my hands dive towards my left hip, and cut across the ball, but in the downswing up to that point i am on plane. It took a nice video camera for me to believe it. It makes sense because i finish by chicken winging my left arm out to keep from turning over to a pull hook. This is a in side out swing with a hands cut across. If i don't flip my hands i hit a low cut, if i flip my hands i can elevate the ball into a high fade.

Quick question: what controls the initial direction of the ball - the clubface angle or the path?

Feel free to answer me in a PM, as this isn't your thread.

Does your ball start a bit right then bend violently right? That sounds like a hard shot to play for. Sorry I can't hlp you, but post a video, I'm sure someone here can.
