ESPN golf challenge - anyone playing?

I'm playing with a friend in the net division - June 6th.

If my buddy who's a scratch will play I might get in on the one in july. The problem is I have no chance at the net so I need to have a solid partner to have any shot at the gross.

You could get a streaky player with a high handicap and play net - that's what we're doing. (I'm the high handicap, partner is a 3.1). There's no penaly for a wide gap in handicaps like there usually is. He needs to make par and the occasional birdie and I need to make some pars here and there and we'll have a chance. Ham n Egg will get us though. 1 or 2 holes where we both blow up and we're out of it for sure.

I'm in with a few of my buddies. I know several guys that made it to vegas last year. We beat the guys that went last year on monday. My partner and I are in the net division, I had a very good round and we advance to the next step.

This was held at my home course on May 22nd, but I had a bunch a family in that weekend. We played the day before and saw all the official looking people out marking GUR and prepping. Perhaps next year.
